The rivalry between the two stars ended when they left Europe, however, fans could witness another action-packed clash between the leading scorer in the world and the Argentine World Cup winner in China.

A recent report on X (formerly known as Twitter) has gone viral, which suggested Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr have received an invitation to participate in friendly tournaments in January in China and two Gulf countries, whose names are not disclosed yet.
The report added that the administration is awaiting the release of the calendar for the Saudi Pro League during the Asian Cup break to make the schedule for the friendlies.
Earlier this year, CR7 and La Pulga faced each other in a friendly between Riyadh XI (Saudi Pro League All-Stars) and French giants Paris Saint-Germain in January. Now, Messi has joined Major League Soccer club Inter Miami and has been in a sensational form for his new side.

As reported by Ali Alabdallh, an Al Bilad Daily journalist, a Chinese international marketing company is looking to hold a friendly match between Inter Miami and Al-Nassr in China that will see star players Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in action against each other.
Apart from the Ronaldo and Messi clash, reports also hinted at a potential Saudi Pro League All-Star clash against Premier League champions Manchester City in January.
