Croatian footballer Ana Maria Marković, who is often mistaken as a supermodel, gave her opinion on the all-time popular Ronaldo vs Messi debate. The eternal debate which draws comparison between the two football greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has become a matter of serious discourses among football fans and pundits over the years.
Like other players, the Croatian footballer Ana Maria Marković shared her opinion on who she believes deserves the GOAT title more. The 23-year-old, who is often mistaken as a model, gave her stance on the topic and made her choice very clear among her followers.
Markovic expressed her choice in a question and answer on Twitter, while replying to a fan who asked her who she thinks is her GOAT. Responding to it, the Croatia and Grasshoppers star cleared her choice, while acknowledging the fact that others might have a different viewpoint. The footballer tweeted, “@Cristiano for me is the best. I respect everyone’s opinion. (but mine is right 😉)".
Notably, earlier, the Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo said that the rivalry between him and Messi is a thing of the past. Tribuna had quoted Ronaldo as saying, "The rivalry between me and Messi was good. Fans loved it. Now that rivalry is over. If you love Cristiano, you don't have to hate Messi. We have changed the history of football.”
