Bravo, iconic West Indies all-rounder moved to IPL 2024 champions Kolkata Knight Riders as their mentor ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction. Bravo, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket a day prior, is set to replace former KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir at the helm.
As soon as the reigning IPL champions announced the signing of Bravo, CSK fans took to X and expressed their displeasure in him leaving CSK after being associated with them for long and joining a new franchise. Notably, Bravo joined CSK in 2011 and retired from the IPL after the 2022 season and joined the franchise as bowling coach from the 2023 season. During his association with the franchise, Bravo won the IPL trophy four times under different roles.
