After the official final was postponed due to rain and scheduled on a reserve day. Hence with increased anticipation and fanfare, the IPL saw a massive 3.2 crore audience on Jio Cinema, the official streaming platform for the tournament.
Talking about the match, Gujarat Titans posted a massive total of 214 runs on the back of a stunning batting performance by Sai Surdharshan. The Tamil Nadu batter went on to score 96 in 47 balls with eight fours and six sixes. Whereas for CSK, Matheesha Pathirana was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets in four overs while giving away 44 runs.
