Dana White, the CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has announced two more fights for the UFC 300 PPV event on his official X account. Justin Gaethje is scheduled for five rounds against Max Holloway in the lightweight division to defend UFC’s symbolic “Baddest Mother****** Championship,” on April 14, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Apart from the Gaethje and Holloway bout, Dana White also confirmed that Jim Miller and Bobby Green are going to finally meet inside the octagon. The lightweight fight is nearly 10 years in the making after Bobby Green withdrew three times, firstly at the UFC 172 due to an elbow injury, at the UFC 258 after being deemed unfit to compete, and the third time at the UFC 276 because of withdrawal for unknown reasons.
Through a video on his official X account, Dana White shared the exciting news around the highly anticipated UFC 300 PPV event. While announcing the two more fights for the card, he captioned his post, “BREAKING NEWS: #UFC300 will have Jim Miller vs Bobby Green and Justin Gaethje vs Max Holloway for the BMF Title at Lightweight”.
Notably, Justin Gaethje had defeated Dustin Poirier via a knockout in the second round to win the “Baddest Mother****** Championship,” in the main event of UFC 291 last July. Meanwhile, his opponent, Max Holloway is coming off a very good win against Jung Chan-Sung, knocking him out in the third round last August at UFC Singapore.
In the third of the lightweight fights on the UFC 300 card, the former champion Charles Oliveira is going to take on Arman Tsarukyan in a title eliminator to potentially take on the current champion Islam Makhachev down the road.
