Rajasthan Royals spinning ace Yuzvendra Chahal made a hilarious request to X CEO Elon Musk after Punjab Kings’ pacer Harshal Patel copied his signature pose. Patel is currently playing for Punjab Kings in the 17th season of the Indian Premier League, and on May 1, Wednesday, his side clashed against five-time winners and reigning champions Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
During the clash, Patel took a brilliant sliding catch to dismiss Sameer Rizvi off a Kagiso Rabada delivery in the 16th over. Standing at third man, Patel came off sliding and ended up in Yuzvendra Chahal’s signature pose. While the catch went viral for its timing and accuracy, RR spinner Yuzvendra Chahal reacted and made a hilarious request to Elon Musk to issue a copyright claim on Patel.
Chahal posted Patel’s picture on his X, and tweeted, “Dear Elon Musk paaji, Harshal bhai pe copyright lagana hai.”
This is amongst my best spells in the IPL: Rahul Chahar during CSK vs PBKS
PBKS spinner Rahul Chahar opened up on his spell against Chennai, where he picked two wickets while conceding 16 runs. Chahar said, “The speed at which I bowl, I was backing myself to turn it at pace and make it difficult to hit me. I backed myself and knew if I bowled my best ball, they wouldn’t be able to hit. (On plans to Dhoni) I didn’t want to bowl it fuller to him, he hits it well if you push it fuller.”
He added, “I think we conceded about 8-10 runs more than what we started with, but this is still a good target to chase down. We need to play good cricketing shots. I think this, and my performance in the 2019 final are amongst my best spells in the IPL. Both came at the same venue.”
