In a shocking turn of events, Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar’s wife Jaya Bhardwaj has been duped of INR 10 Lakh over a business proposal. The news of the same came on Friday (February 3). However, nothing much has been disclosed on this matter, but a case has been reportedly filed in the Hari Parvat police station in Agra.
Notably, Lokendra Chahar, father of Deepak Chahar has filed a complaint on this matter. Allegedly, two people named as Dhruv and Kamlesh Pareek who hail from Hyderabad are said to be the main accused in this incident. One of these is said to be a former official with the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).
As per the FIR, the duo who absconded with INR 10 Lakh in October 2022, are yet to return the funds. It is also being reported that the two verbally abused the cricketer’s family and issued threats.
Talking more of Jaya Bhardwaj and Deepak Chahar, the couple tied the knot in Agra on June 2, 2022. Chahar was last seen playing for India against Bangladesh in the ODI series on December 7, 2022.
