Fast bowler T. Natarajan is set to play for a new franchise as Delhi Capitals roped him in for INR 10.75 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Natarajan was a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad before he was released by the franchise during the players retention ahead of the mega auction. Now after five years with SRH, the left-arm pacer is set to take charge of the fast bowling lineup of DC in the upcoming edition.
T. Natarajan has been a crucial player for SRH after he was picked by the franchise for INR 40 Lakh ahead of IPL 2018. The 33-year-old has played 61 matches in his IPL career taking 67 scalps at an average of 29.38.
T. Natarajan's per ball salary in IPL 2025
T. Natarajan made his IPL debut for Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings) roped him in for INR 3 Crore ahead of IPL 2017. However, his IPL salary was reduced to INR 4 Lakh when he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of IPL 2018. After four years, Natarajan's IPL salary was increased to INR 4 Crore with SRH in IPL 2022. Now, the left-arm pacer got another huge hike in his salary after he was sold to Delhi Capitals for INR 10.75 Cr ahead of the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league.
T. Natarajan will play as a main fast bowler for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025. It is likely that Natarajan will bowl four overs in a match for DC in the IPL 2025, and can bowl a maximum of 336 balls in the league stage. According to this, the fast bowler will earn approx INR 3.20 Lakh per ball. However, if DC play 17 matches in a season including the final, Natarajan can bowl a total of 408 in an entire season earning approx INR 2.64 Lakh per ball in IPL 2025.
