Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has garnered a massive fan base with some of the most dedicated supporters. We witnessed Dhonimania throughout the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League with fans turning stadiums yellow in each and every CSK match. But now, a die-hard MSD fan has taken things to the next for his incredible gesture towards MS Dhoni.
T his fan is Deepak P atel, a resident of Kodkel village of Milupara, Tamnar block under the Lailunga assembly constituency of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. Patel got Dhoni's photo printed on both sides of his wedding card, as well as the number of his jersey. Deepak Patel also wrote ‘Thala’ on his wedding card which has now gone viral on the internet.

Like Deepak Patel, A cricket fan in Karnataka also got a picture of the former Indian captain on his wedding card. Apart from the names of the groom and the bride, the front side of the wedding card has Dhoni's picture with the Champions Trophy 2013 trophy.
Further talking about the CSK captain, MS Dhoni recently successfully underwent surgery on his left knee in a Mumbai hospital on Thursday. Dhoni flew to Mumbai after the IPL Final to consult with renowned sports orthopaedic surgeon Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala regarding his recurring knee issue.
Pardiwala is one of the doctors on the BCCI medical panel and has performed surgeries on a number of top Indian cricketers, including Rishabh Pant. Dhoni was dealing with a knee issue throughout the 2023 IPL season and hence had to opt for a limited role in the Playing XI. With the bat, Dhoni only faced 57 balls and scored 107 at an impressive strike of 185.46. But he wasn’t as quick as his former self and after games was spotted with a knee brace.
