India is all set to take on arch-rivals Pakistan in their T20 World Cup 2022 opener in Melbourne. The side is coming after series win against Australia and South Africa and will be confident to take on the Men in Green despite losing to them in their Asia Cup campaign.
Ahead of this all-important clash, India’s wicketkeeper-batter is back in the Blues after some game changing performances in the recent games. Also reckoned as the ‘finisher’ for the Men in Blue, Dinesh Karthik will be one of key players for the marquee event.
The 37-year-old who made a comeback in the Indian side posted an emotional message paying gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey. However, the video has Australia legend and retired cricketer Ricky Ponting highlighting DK’s journey, the star wicketkeeper-batter has shared an emotional message for his skipper Rohit Sharma.
“For a man who went through all this, believed in me and always had time for me and showed me there is light at the end of the tunnel for that I’m ever grateful, that for me is @rohitsharma45”, Karthik wrote in his caption along with the video.
