The Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is reportedly set to leave the English club for Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal until June with a verbal agreement in place. It has also been revealed that Eintracht Frankfurt will pay Manchester United a loan fee for bringing in the Dutchman with a buy option in place.

The loan deal for Donny van de Beek is expected to go down after he struggled to get much game time with Manchester United first-team under the Dutch manager Erik ten Hag this season. After signing for the English club from Ajax in the summer of 2020 for a five-year contract with a reported fee of £35 million plus £5 million in add-ons, the 26-year-old has managed to play only 35 appearances with two goals to his name.
During his tenure at Manchester United, Donny van de Beek was previously loaned to Everton in 2022, where he managed to score one goal in his seven appearances. And now, he could be moving to Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal with an option to buy him for €15m potential package, add-ons included, if the Italian football journalist is to be believed.
On his official X account, Fabrizio Romano used his trademark “Here We Go” phrase, claiming that Donny van de Beek is going to the German club with a verbal agreement between them and Manchester United in place. His post read, “Donny van de Beek to Eintracht Frankfurt, here we go! Verbal agreement now in place. Exclusive details: loan until June — buy option included for €15m potential package, add-ons included. It’s NOT mandatory. Eintracht will also pay #MUFC a loan fee.”
