On Monday (25 July), EA announced a “multi-year partnership” with Juventus, which will start on 30th September, which is also the launch date of FIFA 23.
Serie A giants last featured in the game in 2019 and the FIFA 20, 21 and 22, witnessed them featuring as Piemonte Calcio. On the other hand, they were available in Konami’s series Pro Evolution Soccer for the last three years.
EA SPORTS FIFA Italia took to social media platforms to post an interesting video of the return of Juventus. Most of the fans have expressed their excitement regarding the development and thanked the company.
Along with the stadium and jersey of Juventus, EA has gone a step further to “work across a number of lifestyle and cultural initiatives bringing new opportunities outside of football.”
Going ahead, the star striker Dusan Vlahovic is chosen as the brand ambassador. Moreover, the former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio will be available as a FUT Hero.
Vlahovic joined Juventus in January and scored seven goals to help the team in finishing fourth in Serie A 2021/22. Marchisio spent 13 years and helped the side to secure a title victory on seven occasions, while also being a part of the 2015 and 2017 runner-up sides in the Champions League.
David Jackson, VP of brand for EA SPORTS FIFA said: "This phenomenal club means so much to us and our fans, and will enable EA SPORTS to continue to deliver the most authentic and comprehensive interactive football experiences possible in FIFA 23 and beyond."
On Tuesday (July 19), EA unveiled superstars Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr as their cover athletes and announced that FIFA 23 will be their ‘most expansive FIFA Title’. It will also be the first edition, where the 12 women club teams have been added to the video game.
