The ongoing 3rd T20I between West Indies and India began with a unique delay as the groundsmen forgot to mark the 30-yard circle on the ground. While Yashasvi Jaiswal is making his T20I debut, Team India picked Sanju Samson behind the wickets and also retained Yuzvendra Chahal in the Playing XI to form a Rajasthan Royals trio. While Sanju has played an important role as a wicketkeeper to read the game, the RR skipper also made a perfect prediction just a moment ahead of the delivery.
During the penultimate delivery of the 15th over, Kuldeep Yadav turned the delivery to caught and bowl set-batsman Brandon King. Sanju Samson predicted the wicket before the ball was bowled by Kuldeep as the wicketkeeper-batter was heard saying on the stump mic, "Ek aur aa raha hai," which can be translated to, "One more (wicket) is coming."
At the end of the first inning, the hosts West Indies set a 160-run target for the Men in Blue after losing five wickets. While opener Brandon Kings scored 42 runs at a strike rate of 100, captain Rovman Powell scored a quick-fire knock of 40 runs in just 19 deliveries with the help of three sixes and a four.
For India, Kuldeep Yadav picked three wickets in his four overs at the economy rate of 7 runs per over followed by Axar Patel, who picked a wicket with an economy of 6 runs per over. Mukesh Kumar also picked a wicket while Arshdeep Singh Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal went wicket-less.
