The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Monday, September 9 announced 16-member revised squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia. The Three Lions will host their arch-rivals, Australia in a white-ball series, consisting of three T20Is and five ODIs, starting from Wednesday, September 11.

Notably, the side have dropped Gus Atkinson after the England pacer did not take the field on the morning of Day 3 of the third Test against Sri Lanka. The 26-year-old, who starred in England’s 2-1 series win against Sri Lanka, complained of tight quad and as a result did not take the field.
