The much-awaited Ashes series is underway and currently, the first rain-affected Test hangs in the balance with all three results equally possible. England pacer Ollie Robinson dismissed centurion Usman Khawaja on Day 3 and the celebration thereafter has been doing rounds on social media. The England pacer also caught the attention of fans and the media for his unusual choice of footwear.
Robinson was seen wearing a mismatched pair of shoes, during the third day’s play. He sported a yellow-colored Adidas shoe on his left foot and a green-colored New Balance shoe on his right foot. The reason for this odd combination is not clear, but it could be related to the injury he suffered in his left ankle during a County Championship match against Glamorgan ahead of the Ashes series.
Speaking about the game, Robinson bowled well in the second innings as he got 3-55 in 22.1 overs. With Jonny Bairstow and skipper Ben Stokes in the middle, England took a considerable lead of more than 150 runs at Lunch on Day 4 of ongoing Test.
