Team India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah recently made his presence felt at the Coldplay concert on the Republic Day at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Bumrah, who was last seen donning the national jersey in the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series down under, made his presence at the much-anticipated concert in his hometown.
However, the Brit rock band have beeen speaking of the stalwart since their first concert this year in Mumbai, but this time, the Indian pacer made sure to make an appearance. Although, the pacer grabbed the social media spotlight when the band’s lead singer Chris Martin dedicated a song to Bumrah, the Ahmedabad-born later shared glimpses of his experience at the concert.

Bumrah has been simply fantabulous for the Indian cricket team in 2024. After leading the side to the much-awaited ICC title triumph at the T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies, he finished as the highest wicket-taker in the BGT 2024-25. On Tuesday, the 31-year-old also became the first Indian fast bowler and only fifth Indian cricketer to win the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Award for the ICC Cricketer of the Year.
