Fans brutally trolled the Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic on social media after his back-to-back inefficient performances in recent times. Over the last five seasons, Jokic won back-to-back MVPs, finished second to Joel Embiid, and is again among the top contenders for the same award this season. However, in the Nuggets’ recent losses against the LA Clippers and the Houston Rockets, the reigning NBA Finals MVP was under fire by the fans.

Despite finishing with a triple-double against the Clippers earlier this week, Jokic was inefficient with his shots. ‘The Joker’ was 9-32 from the floor, including 2-7 from deep as the game saw Clippers defeating their counterparts 111-102.

While he was expected to come back stronger in the next game, Jokic failed to put on a decent show as he ended the first half against the Rockets with three points and hit just 1-10 shots. Needless to say, his first half against the Rockets was his worst in five seasons with the Denver Nuggets.

Here’s how fans reacted to Jokic's:

Jokic missed 40 shots from the field in his last two matches as he finished with 9-26 FGM against the Rockets. With Saturday's victory, the Houston Rockets defeated the  Denver Nuggets by 114-106 to  hold a 3-1 edge in their season series. On Monday,  Nikola Jokic's Denver Nuggets will next travel to the State Farm Arena to face Trae Young-led Atlanta Hawks.
