The Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue put up a dominating performance on the field in their Super Fours fixture against Pakistan. The side went full throttle on the scheduled day, with both openers in Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scoring their respective half-centuries, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli took on the charge with both stitching a record 233-run partnership to put 356 runs on the board.

Not only this, but the bowling attack also stepped up with lone wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav registering his second ODI five-wicket haul. While he solely sent half of the side packing, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Shardul Thakur, each scalped a wicket to help bundle out Pakistan at the score of 128 in 32 overs.
This dominant win against Pakistan was followed by elaborate celebrations across the sub-continent. Every corner of the country, including Jammu and Kashmir celebrated this win, dancing and bursting firecrackers. Video of these celebration are now doing rounds on social media.
While this win now sit behind for Team India as they will next lock horns with Sri Lanka in their second Super Fours game in the Asia Cup at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday, 12th September.
