In the afternoon match of a double-header Sunday in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are hosting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. However, RR will aim to overturn their recent losses as they return home, they will eye to continue their domination in the cash-rich league over the Bengaluru-based franchise.
Coming into this fixture, RCB skipper Rajat Patidar won the toss and invited the hosts to put the score on the first. With the RR skipper and youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal looking good at the start, the captain was dismissed after scoring 15 runs off 19 balls. However, Jaiswal showcased his skill, scoring his second half-century of the season and 11th in his IPL career.
With the RR wicketkeeper-batter getting out cheaply, fans flooded social media dropping mixed reaction on the skipper’s outing. While several fans slammed Sanju Samson for his “tuk tuk batting”, a few others had some starking and contradicting opinions. Some of the fans brought out the discrepencies in cricket comparing Samson’s previous 41-run knock to Pant’s 17-ball 21 which came on Saturday.

Speaking of the match, after the completion of 15 overs, RR had put up 114 runs at the loss of two wickets with Dhruv Jurel (1 off 6) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (64 off 43) in the middle.
