Indian cricket fans slammed youngster Shubman Gill for his inconsistent form. Shubman Gill was dismissed on 34 runs in the first innings of the second Test against England on February 2, Friday. After losing the series opener by 28 runs, the Rohit Sharma-led squad is hosting Ben Stokes’ England in the second Test in Visakhapatnam. Indian skipper Rohit won the toss and invited the guests to b owl first.

India’s emerging icon Shubman Gill came on fans’ radar due to his poor form with the bat in the last few matches. While he was expected to score better in the second match, Gill could only manage to come up with 34 runs before getting dismissed off a James Anderson delivery in the 29th over. The 24-year-old has played some remarkable match-winning knocks for the side; however, his recent form has been a major concern for the Indian side. In the previous match, Gill scored only 23 runs and walked back to the pavilion on a duck in the second inning.
