Preview:

On the back of dominating performance in the qualification campaign, underdogs Denmark will be up against African nation Tunisia on November 22 (Tuesday) at Education City Stadium. Notably, Denmark won all eight games in the qualification round and didn't concede a single goal.

Team News:

Denmark:

Denmark has no injury concerns as Andreas Christensen recovered from his ankle injury. Meanwhile, Jonas Wind is on the roster and termed fit to play despite missing Wolfsburg's final match before the World Cup break.

Tunisia:

In late October, Tunisia midfielder Ellyes Skhiri suffered a fractured cheekbone but returned to club action just a week later. After catching a muscle injury in late October, defender Omar Rekik is out of the tournament.

Analysis:

Denmark is coming to this game after an impressive performance in the qualification round. It has a decent track record of advancing to the knockout rounds in four out of the five times played in the tournament. Christian Eriksen will be Denmark's key player. The midfielder is arguably the greatest player ever produced by the country. Since he made a comeback from a cardiac arrest that he suffered while playing for Manchester United during the Euros, Eriksen has been phenomenal and remains one of the best midfielders in the game.

Meanwhile, in their two-legged play-off, Tunisia made their way to the World Cup by defeating Mali by a narrow 1-0 score line. In their fifth FIFA World Cup participation, Tunisia will look to better their track record in the marque tournament as they have only won two of the 15 matches they have ever played in the finals. Wahbi Khazri is one of their key players, and the former Sunderland star will be his carry a lot of hope from the country's fans in the World Cup 2022.
