Analysis:
Historically speaking Cameroon has been one of the best African teams in the World Cup. They have always managed to create some incredible moments. Under Rigobert Song, the Indomitable Lions have been playing quality fundamental football with what is considered one of the most complete African teams. The X-factor for Cameroon with the duo of André-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, have been on fire for their respective clubs.
Similarly, Switzerland has been one of the most solid European teams over the last few major tournaments. They had a magical run in last year’s Euros where they defeated France and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament. Entering the World Cup, the Swiss have been dealing with many defensive issues which have cost them many games.
