Preview:

After an entertaining first week, Australia will face Tunisia to kick off game week 2 for Group D. Australia opened their campaign with a 4-1 loss against defending champions France. On the other hand, the Tunisians had to settle for a stalemate 0-0 draw against Denmark in their opening game.

Team news:

Australia:

No injuries were reported for the Australian team.

Tunisia:

Striker Wahbi Khazri has been injured but will be back for the game.

Analysis:

The Australian team shocked the world as they took a 1-0 lead against France in their opening game. But soon Les Bleus scored four straight goals to register a resounding victory. Craig Goodwin scored the first goal for the Socceroos and locked lethal throughout the game. Matthew Leckie also played well. Aussie captain Mathew Ryan didn’t have a great game and will want to improve on his performance against Tunisia.

On the other hand, Tunisia played a gruelling game against dark horse contenders Denmark. Their forwards weren’t up to the mark but the defence and midfield had an incredible performance with Ali Abdi leading the way. Hence, the Carthage Eagles would want to get back to winning ways against Australia.
