KKR demolished Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the final of the 2024 edition as they chased down the minuscule total of 113 in just 10.3 overs. In this victorious campaign, both Narine and Russell emerged as vital pieces with performances with both bat and ball.
Through Dre Russ had a limited role throughout the season but excelled in every opportunity he received, including his spell of 3-23 in the final. On the other hand, Sunil Narine was named the MVP for his magnanimous all-round performances which saw him score over 400 runs and pick over 15 wickets.
