Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has already confirmed his second consecutive champions title at the Japanese Grand Prix after missing his chance of finishing first at the Singapore Grand Prix, earlier this season. With the Red Bull drivers in form, Red Bull will eye to seal the championship title with the US Grand Prix, scheduled to take place on 24 October 2022.

While they remain the favourites to win the title, but anything can happen with the turn of events in Formula One. While the Dutchman is placed at the top of the championship standings with 366, teammate Sergio Perez is placed second with 253 points, just a point ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

Talking about the F1 Constructors’ Championship standings, Red Bull Racing is placed at the top with 619 with Scuderia Ferrari standing second with 454, followed by Mercedes AMG Petronas (387 points).

In this article, we will take a look at the possibility of Red Bull taking the Constructor’s Championship title in Austin if the following conditions are fulfilled.

Firstly, if either of the Red Bull drivers in Max Verstappen or Sergio Perez wins the US Grand Prix in Austin, the Austrian team will take the title. Even if the two drivers end the US Grand Prix at P3 and P4, the RedBull Racing can take the championship title.

One major challenge which the Austrian side might face is a clear lead from the Ferrari side. Although, the Red Bull team will be coming on high confidence after Max Verstappen confirmed the champions title of 2022, the Dutch driver was also the winner of the US Grand Prix last edition.

So, if the Red Bull Racing don’t get out-scored by Ferrari by 19 points, the side can take their title on Monday, 24 October with three more races to go.
