In a game against India in 2004, when the entire batting lineup of Pakistan failed to score, Shoaib Malik stood at one end and scored brilliant 143 runs from just 127 balls. As a result of the memorable knock played by the former cricketer, Pakistan won the game by a notable margin of 59 runs.
