India A wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan was heard sharing hilarious instructions to left-arm spinner Manav Suthar during the unofficial Test match against Australia A. In the first unofficial Test at McKay, the wicketkeeper-batter was heard assisting Suthar from behind the stumps with his insights when Marcus Harris was batting on the crease. The third day of the Test ended with the hosts needing 86 runs to register victory.

During the game, Kishan, who was keeping wickets for India was heard providing some assistance to his teammate. In a video doing rounds on social media, Kishan could be heard saying, “Some serious turn” before he switched to Hindi. He instructed Suthar to bowl a straight delivery as it would trouble the batter. Kishan said, “Daal de baat maan, g***d fatt jayega iska bolega sidha bhi raha hai idhar (Bowl straight, he will get straight. He will say the ball is coming straight as well.)” The strategy eventually paid off and Suthar dismissed Harris for 36 runs as Kishan took a sharp catch behind the stumps.
