Nashville SC owner and NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo performed football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature celebration ahead of the Leagues Cup final. Giannis marked his presence in the final of the League Cup on August 20, Sunday at the Geodis Park in Nashville. In the summit clash, Nashville was squaring off against Lionel Messi-led Inter Miami.
The game saw Miami beating Dax McCarty side 10-9 to win the trophy, after having made their MLS debut in 2020. Not only this, but in the final of the tournament, the Miami captain also scored his 10th goal in seven games. In a video posted by ESPN FC, the Milwaukee Bucks star could be seen imitating the Al Nassr captain, while hitting his trademark celebration.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner scored in every game of the Major League tournament, after he arrived at Inter Miami from Paris Saint Germain. With his first major win after the transfer, the 36-year-old won his career’s 44th career trophy.
While Inter Miami was coming on the back of defeating Philadelphia Union in the semi final, Nashville had taken down Monterrey. The 2022 FIFA World Cup winning captain was awarded with the ‘Best Player’ and ‘Top Scorer’ awards for his performance in the league.
