The second edition of the Guwahati Premier League T20 will commence from March 19, with the final scheduled to be played on April 7. The Assam-based league, which will be held over three weeks, will see many emerging cricketers from the eastern state of Assam play at the big stage. The tournament consists of 35 games with all the matches scheduled to be played at Judges Field in Guwahati, Assam.

Around 150 cricketers from the state will feature in the competition including an IPL star, Abu Nechim, who played for two of the biggest IPL franchises in Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The tournament will be played in the round-robin format with all teams playing against each other once. The top four teams will make it to the Super Four round, from where the two top teams will play the summit clash on April 7.
