When Harry Kane and James Maddison of Tottenham Hotspur decided to play a game of golf on their pre-season tour of Australia, they ended up getting more than they bargained for. The two had to hide behind their golf carts after being startled to discover two kangaroos fighting on the fairway.

Eventually, the kangaroos walked on, allowing the Spurs players to carry on with their game. Both Kane and Madison are avid golfers, and they frequently play together when they have free time. They are close friends off the pitch as well.

Maddison recorded the strange occurrence on camera, and he posted it on his Instagram account. In the video, Kane and Maddison can be seen laughing and shaking their heads in surprise as they see the two marsupials hopping and kicking one other. "Settle down lads, trying to take my shot here”, he wrote in the Instagram story's caption.

The two are expecting to work together effectively on the pitch as Tottenham gets ready for the new campaign under its new manager Ange Postecoglou. The Australian coach lost to West Ham 3-2 in Perth on Sunday, his first game in command. Both Kane and Madison participated in the game but were unable to turn the tide.

Kane’s future at Tottenham remains uncertain, however, as he has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich. The German giants are reportedly interested in signing the England captain as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is wanted by Chelsea and PSG. Kane has a contract with Spurs until 2024 but has expressed his desire to win trophies elsewhere.

Maddison, on the other hand, seems to be happy at his new club and is looking forward to playing in the Premier League and the Europa Conference League with Tottenham. He will face his former team Leicester in Spurs’ next pre-season friendly in Thailand on Friday.
