In match number 31 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) are hosting the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Tuesday, April 15. As the two teams are often known to provide some thrilling cricketing action, this match was nothing short of an entertainer despite being a low-scoring fixture.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, the Shreyas Iyer-led PBKS were bundled out at the score of 111 in 15.3 overs. While Prabhsimran Singh was the top-scorer, Harshit Rana proved to be a wrecker-in-chief, claiming three wickets in his three-over spell.

The Indian pacer, who has rose to occasion not only for the Knight Riders, but also for the Men in Blue, once again held his nerves in the middle, finishing with the figures of 3/25. Although, the India pacer picked all his three wickets inside the powerplay overs, he became the first from the country to do so for the three-time champions in the cash rich league.
Rana first picked up Priyansh Arya's wicket as the batter holed out to Ramandeep Singh, he later PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer on the first ball with Ramandeep taking a stunning catch yet again. He finally got rid of Prabhsimran Singh to pick up his third victim of the day, leaving the Punjab-based franchise reeling at 54/4. However, his efforts went in vain and PBKS bowlers restricted the visitors to 95/10 in 15.1 overs, pullign off a thrilling win by 16 runs.
