Haryana Steelers finished as the runners-up in the previous edition of the Pro Kabaddi League in 2023. They lost the final against Puneri Paltan, extending their drought of maiden PKL title. Haryana Steelers became a part of Pro Kabaddi League in its fifth edition in 2017. In their maiden PKL season, Haryana Steelers reached the Eliminator, where they lost to Patna Pirates by 69-30.

Haryana Steelers made their debut in the Pro Kabaddi League in 2017. They finished third in Zone A group with 13 wins from 22 matches. However, they ended up losing in the Eliminator against Patna Pirates. Haryana Steelers entered their maiden PKL final in the Pro Kabaddi League 2023-24.
