Los Angeles Lakers’ dismal season continues as they lost their seventh game against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Ohio. Newly acquired Donovan Mitchell scored 33 points for the Cavs while hometown hero LeBron James put up 27 points, four assists and rebounds for the visiting Lakers.

After this loss, NBA analyst and media member Skip Bayless lashed out at LeBron James and claimed that the King can’t carry a team on his own. Bayless posted his thoughts on Twitter and stressed the fact that LeBron’s team was outscored 56-36 in the second half.

Skip Bayless’ tweet said, “LeBron James can no longer carry a team in games they should win, especially at home. Lakers just outscored in the 2nd half 56-36 by LeBron’s former team AT HOME.”

After the game, LeBron James talked about his former team and praised the Cavs for an impressive roster which will soon be contending for the title. Lebron said, “I think we saw last year what team they could become.”

He further added, “Seems like they just want to play ball. I’m looking at their roster, you don’t see too many guys all over social media, showing off they got this, and showing off they got that. Just like a bunch of guys that just come to work and just want to play ball.”

The four-time NBA champion also praised the Cleveland coaches for their efforts and jokingly called his former teammate Kevin Love the ‘grandpa’ of the team. He said, “That’s probably a joy for a coach and a coaching staff, just knowing you’ve got a bunch of kids who want to come in and play ball, and then a grandpa who looks over everybody in Kevin Love.”
