LeBron James took to Instagram to slam a controversial call in the Los Angeles Lakers' 108-106 loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Minneapolis. The four-time MVP continued his ever-green form as he scored 26 points celebrating his 39th birthday tonight (Saturday).

The Lakers were trailing by three points when LeBron took a long-distance jumper to tie the game. But as James' jump shot was reviewed, the referees' called a two-pointer. However, LeBron, standing near the replay monitor, spotted that his foot was not on the line.
The four-time MVP, celebrating his 39th birthday tonight (Saturday), was furious with the call and even dropped F-bombs as the Lakers eventually fell short by two points. After the game, James posted a picture of his foot behind the line and sarcastically thanked everyone for his birthday gift. In the caption, Bron shared, " Sooooooooooooooo!!!!! WTF. Helluva Happy Bday gift to me."

Reacting to the controversial call, LeBron James questioned the point of having a review system that manages to get a straightforward call wrong. Speaking to the media, as per Dave McMenamin, Bron said, “What’s the point of having replay if even the replay gets it wrong?” While Lakers' coach Darvin Ham reacted stating, “The view I had, I thought it was a clear-cut 3 … We thought it was a good 3 … Although I disagree, we have to live with it”
