Former West Indies stars Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo were seen engaging in a funny banter as they enjoyed a car ride. However, Bravo, who was earlier a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad and the bowling coach in the 2023 season took a dig at Pollard, the current batting coach of Mumbai Indians. Notably, this was Bravo’s first IPL trophy as a coach, while his old mate is yet to win one. Both are known to share good camaraderie and thus, Bravo didn’t shy away from taking a dig at Pollard and remind him that he has more trophies than him in league cricket.

DJ Bravo as he is affectionately called by the franchise fans found success in his first stint as a coach, as the team took down former champions Gujarat Titans in an absolute nail-biting thriller to take their fifth trophy home. He reminded Pollard that Chennai Super Kings are the most successful franchise, and when asked how, he said that they have won two Champions Trophy while, Rohit Sharma-led side have only one. However, Pollard was quick to remind his friend that he has been playing since the early 2000s and hence, he has more career trophies.

Apparently the LLORD @kieron.pollard55 believes that his team is the most successful IPL team. Let the record show that @chennaiipl is the most successful IPL team. Furthermore, he @kieron.pollard55 wants to talk about trophies. Let the records show AGAIN this is now my 17th title while @kieron.pollard55 you are still on #15. You have some serious catching up to do. Put some respect on my name please. Thank you very much. #sirchampion.”

Notably, the duo has represented West Indies in international cricket, and won several trophies for their country.
