Haseena Sunil Prannoy, or HS Prannoy is a big name in the badminton circuit. He has been representing India at the highest level since 2013. He made his international debut in 2013 in the Open International Challenge held in Mumbai. He finished as runner-up, losing to compatriot Sourabh Verma in the finals. Since then, the 30-year-old has won multiple medals for India in team events as well as an individual. He won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham in the mixed team category. He was also a part of the title winning squad which won the first Thomas Cup title for India in 2022 in Bangkok. 

But his newest achievement is the title win at the Malaysia Masters 2023. He beat Chinese prodigy Weng Hong Yang in the final of the tournament 21-19, 13-21 and 21-18, to win his maiden BWF title.
