On the latest episode of the SmackDown from Jeddah Superdome, Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE champion, tore apart the challenger Logan Paul, the United States Champion, in a scathing promo. Rhodes told Paul that he would beat him so badly that the Maverick would regret competing for the King and Queen of the Ring PLE title.
A night before Saudi Arabia hosts the next WWE PLE, the fans in the Middle Eastern country got to see their favourite superstars in action on Smackdown. Cody Rhodes went face-to-face with Logan Paul at the Jeddah Superdome before competing in a champion versus champion match at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE at the same venue.
During the promo segment, Logan Paul spoke about taking the Undisputed WWE champion off of Cody Rhodes the next night. When Rhodes wanted Paul to prove that he was a man of his word, the Maverick agreed to get patted down for a pair of brass knuckles, which the referee found in his pants.
Cody Rhodes was having none of the shenanigans of Logan Paul and he went on to call him out for his part-time status before saying, “Until you respect the right that we are standing in, you will never, and I mean never be on my level. You will never be Undisputed WWE champion. And tomorrow, I am going to beat you so bad.… Kid, you will regret stepping into the ring with me.”
Notably, this will be the second opportunity for Logan Paul to win the Undisputed WWE Championship after he lost the title match at a Saudi Arabia PLE nearly two years ago against the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
