Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said that he doesn’t know whether Jadon Sancho will play for the club again. After Sancho refused to apologise to Hag after a disciplinary issue, he has given an exile from the club and is practising alone, away from the teammates. The forward had earlier said in a social media statement that he has been made ‘scapegoat’ following his omission from the squad after their loss against Arsenal.

The club manager had said that the footballer was benched out from the squad due to his poor performance. Meanwhile, ahead of their game against Brighton, the coach said that he is not sure whether or not the 23-year-old will play again for the club. He said, “I don’t know. He is not available, so in this moment, he is not important, because he can't contribute.”

Pointing towards Sancho’s exile from the team, the coach commented, “Of course, it is never someone who only makes one mistake, it is a whole process before you come to a certain outcome about strict lines. If staff or players or whoever, there is a structure to cross lines so you have to be strong.”

Notably, Brighton got better of United 3-1 in an exciting Premier League match on Saturday, September 16. With their defeat, the Red Devils now stand 12th on points table, whereas Brighton rise to fourth spot on the standings.
