The Boston Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers 4-0 in the 2024 NBA Eastern Conference Finals with a 105-102 win in Game 4 on Monday night at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Jaylen Brown, who scored a game-high 29 points against the Pacers in Game 4, was surprised to win the Larry Bird Eastern Conference finals MVP and gave a hilarious reaction after winning the award in the post-game press conference.
Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown averaged 29.8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 0.8 blocks while playing 40.9 minutes per game in the Eastern Conference Final series against the Pacers. Jaylen Brown posted a series of pictures on X and captioned, " God is the greatest 🏆"
After not being named in any of the three All-NBA teams this season, Brown was unhappy and proved his mettle in the series against the Pacers. Apart from his game-high 29 points against the Pacers in Game 4, Brown registered six rebounds, two assists, and three steals to help his side clinch a three-point victory. In a post-game interview, Brown reacted to his ECF MVP award and said, "I wasn’t expecting it at all. I never win s**t. I was just happy we won."
