Former Pakistan Cricket Board (RCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja recently got under the limelight but it wasn’t other than the one involving the PCB and the team as a whole. The former Pakistan cricketer, who is commentating at the ongoing edition of Lanka Premier League got into the news for his remark on live TV during the LPL match.

In the match between Colombo Strikers and Galle Titans, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam once again stole the limelight as he played a blistering knock of 104 off 59 deliveries to eventually win the Player of the Match. This knock from the skipper not only swept his fans but also the former PCB Chairman, which led to him making a shocking statement on-air.
As Babar Azam reached his half-century, Ramiz said, “Fifty in security, class and quality. Calmness. He is your guy in such a situation. He can bat deep in the innings. I absolutely love him…. Yeah, want to marry him.”

His comment not only went viral but spread like wildfire. Additionally, Babar Azam with his knock of 104 runs became only the second batter ever to hit 10 T20 centuries, only behind Chris Gayle.
Colombo Strikers will next face Jaffna Kings on August 8 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
