Indian batting star Virat Kohli spoke about his first interaction with his wife and actor Anushka Sharma on AB de Villiers 'The 360 Show'. Virat and Anushka are one of the most popular couples in pop culture and have a massive fan base. The pair got married in 2017 and also have a baby girl named Vamika.

So, when De Villiers asked Kohli about the first time meeting with Anushka Sharma, the former Indian captain spoke about meeting her during an ad shoot in 2013. The Royal Challengers Bangalore batter revealed that he was extremely nervous about meeting her for the shoot.

He said, "I remember this was 2013, I was just named captain for the Zimbabwe tour. My manager came to me told me that I was going to shoot with Anushka Sharma. As soon as I heard this, I was so nervous. How the hell am I gonna do this? I was really nervous."

Talking about Kohli and De Villiers, the pair will soon be seen together as Royal Challengers Bangalore will be honouring the South African star and Chris Gayle by inducting them into their Hall of Fame. RCB will also permanently retire the jersey numbers of these two stalwarts as a token of appreciation for their contribution. The event will take place on March 26 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

During the announcement, former RCB skipper Kohli was ecstatic with this gesture and expressed elation about playing alongside these stars as he said, “AB has truly changed the game of cricket with his innovation, brilliance and sportsmanship. I have played for 7 years with Chris and this is going to be the most special journey for me.”

It is to be noted that Gayle played 84 games for the Bangalore-based franchise where he scored 3,163 runs at an average of just under 44 and a strike rate of 152.7 with 249 fours and 239 sixes. Whereas De Villiers has made 144 appearances for RCB, scoring around 5,000 runs with a strike rate of 158.6.
