The International Cricket Council (ICC) declared Virat Kohli’s shot to Haris Rauf as the ‘Shot of the Century’. Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli is in magnificent form as he is a part of India’s playing XI in the ODI World Cup 2023. The former Indian skipper has played some of the most crucial knocks for his side, guiding the Men in Blue to eight consecutive wins.

The 35-year-old recently added another feather in his cap as he levelled former Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar’s 49-ODI century record. Kohli hit his 49th 50-over century against South Africa in India’s last fixture of the ICC megaevent. Meanwhile, Kohli’s six to Haris Rauf in the last T20 World Cup has earned him the title of ‘Shot of the Century’ by the ICC.

Along with featuring his ‘Spirit of Cricket Moment’, the video also featured Kohli’s huge six to Rauf in the T20 World Cup 2022. The cricket council body declared the six as ‘Shot of the Century’, honouring Kohli’s contribution to the sport.
During their clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2022 World Cup, India found themselves in a tight spot, needing 28 runs off eight balls. Kohli smashed two magnificent sixes and guided India to a four-wicket win over the neighbours. King Kohli, as he is widely regarded as, played an unbeaten inning of 82 runs off 53 deliveries.
