While the hosts for this edition of the Cricket World Cup, saw their first warm-up game being abandoned against the reigning champions England, they will aim to get into a competitive game before they take on Australia in the World Cup opener on October 8 in Chennai.
But as the Men in Blue take the field on October 3, the weather might hamper the game with torrential rain interrupting several matches on the warm-ups lately. As per the listings on Accuweather, the day is expected to witness couple of showers and thunderstorms with 96 per cent of precipitation chances. However, the probability of precipitation might decrease, overcast conditions continue to remain.
