India’s young and emerging bowler, Ravi Bishnoi pipped Afghanistan ace all-rounder Rashid Khan to become world number one ranked bowler in ICC Men’s T20I Rankings. The 23-year-old surged to the top position after his brilliant performance at the recently concluded five-match T20I series against six-time World Champions Australia.
Bishnoi, who starred with nine wickets to his name in the five-match series, jumped five places to displace Rashid Khan at the helm. He now sits comfortable with 699 points, surpassing Khan, who has 692 points to his name. Moreover, Bishnoi is the lone Indian spinner in the top 10 of the ICC T20I bowling rankings.
Suryakumar Yadav dominates the T20I Batting Rankings
Suryakumar Yadav, who recently led the Men in Blue in the five-match T20I series against Australia continued to dominate the batting charts in the T20I Rankings with 855 points. Mohammad Rizwan is second on the list with 787 points, followed by Aiden Markram, Babar Azam, and Rilee Rossouw, completing the top five.
Moreover, Ruturaj Gaikwad saw a dip in the rankings as he dropped to seventh place from the previous sixth with a total of 688 points.
