The New Orleans Pelicans registered an 89-133 defeat against the Los Angeles Lakers in the semifinal of the In-Season Tournament semifinal matchup on Thursday, December 7. Zion Williamson was one of the Pelicans who failed to put on a good show at the game. Williamson scored 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting with three rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes of action. Williamson’s poor performance got him in his fans’ eyes and they showed no mercy while trolling the NBA star on social media.

Before the match, Pelicans stars including Zion and Brandon Ingram burst into laughter when reporters asked them how they would celebrate if their team won the NBA Cup. After the match, fans took to social media and brutally trolled the 23-year-old and were quick enough to bring back the topic of adult film star Moriah Mills. The NBA star was accused by Mills of cheating on her with his girlfriend Ahkeema.

Mills had alleged she had been with Williamson for the past three years and shared her side of the story on social media. After their defeat against the Lakers, fans took to social media to express their frustration while bringing back the drama episode.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Shaq And Charles Barkley slam Zion Williamson

Apart from the Pelicans fans, former NBA stars including Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley slammed the North Carolina born for his poor game in the crucial match. Shaq said, “I saw a couple times when he had a couple times at the basket, he don’t seal, right? He doesn’t demand the ball … and he doesn’t have that look. Like, I’m not the greatest athlete ever, but I know a look when I see it. In every sport, I know a look. Tiger Woods had that look, Jack Nicklas had that look. He just doesn’t have that look. And he doesn’t rebound. He does not rebound.”

Shaq’s fellow Hall of Fame inductee Charles Barkley added his views and said, “The thing that disturbs me is he’s not a young kid. When Moses (Malone) told me I was fat and lazy, I was a rookie. He’s been in the league long enough — he’s got two guys on the team that are better players than him and they shouldn’t be. He was the No. 1 pick in the Draft. He should be a better player than (Brandon) Ingram, we like Ingram. Obviously, we love C.J. (McCollum). He should be the best player and he’s not close."
