Former India international and commentator Aakash Chopra joked about a scenario where the Indian Premier League is an institute ahead of the 2023 IPL final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. While talking in the pre-game show on Jio Cinema, Chopra spoke about how CSK captain MS Dhoni will be the Dean if IPL was an institute.
Further discussing Dhoni's opposite number today, GT captain Hardik Pandya, Aakash Chopra whipped the all-rounder as just a lecturer as of now, citing lower experience in comparison to other greats of the tournament. Chopra was heard saying, " If IPL is an institute, then MS Dhoni is the Dean of that institute. Hardik is a lecturer for now."
