In a sting operation done by Zee media, the BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma called out fans of Indian wicketkeeper batter Sanju Samson, who spread hate on social media if he isn’t picked for the team. Sharma has made some shocking revelations about the dark arts which go through in Indian cricket.

Chetan Sharma was heard saying "if you don't include Sanju Samson, on Twitter people blow us off". The former India player also talked about how recent great performances by Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill have put the careers of players like Samson, KL Rahul, and Shikhar Dhawan in jeopardy.

These statements may also come as a shock as last year around this, Sharma himself had stated that Samson will get a chance to be in the Indian team and he will be specifically groomed for the World Cup in Australia.

While speaking in a  virtual press conference on February 19  Chetan Sharma said, “Sanju is in our scheme of things. Most importantly we have to see which is a cricketer who will be useful on Australian wickets. He is definitely in our scheme of things (for the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year.”  But on the contrary, Samson only played 8 T20 matches and scored 211 runs in 7 Innings.

Going back to Chetan Sharma's sting operation, the former India cricketer also claimed that in order to stay match fit, some players have been taking injections which contain drugs which cannot be traced in a doping test allowing them to play games despite being unfit.

Sharma was quoted saying, "Indian Cricket Team players take injection & get 100% fit even if they're 80-85%% fit. These are not painkillers. These injections contain Drug which isn't caught in Dope Test."
