Tennis icon Roger Federer attended American pop star Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Zurich with family on Tuesday, July 9. The Swiss great was joined by his family including his wife Mirka, twin daughters Myla and Charlene and twin sons Leo and Lennart, along with his parents. Notably, Zurich was the first stop in Swift’s Eras Tour, and next, she will perform in Milan.
The 20-time Major winner took to Instagram to share a picture from the concert, showing off his wrist full of friendship bands. Not only this, but he also posed for a selfie with the “Love Story” singer. C aptioning the picture, he wrote, “In my Swiftie era”. Federer’s appearance at Swift’s concert came less than a month after Iga Swiatek was seen attending one of her shows in Liverpool.
Before attending the Taylor Swift concert, the 42-year-old was seen at the Wimbledon Village on day 4 of the tournament. Earlier during the screen of his documentary, ”Federer: Twelve Final Days” which highlights Federer’s retirement. He had said, "I'm making plans, kids are pushing me there... I’m happy at home but the kids said ‘No we wanna come to Wimbledon this year, you were [there] last year without us!’, so, hey, then we go to Wimbledon.”
Notably, the ‘Blank Space’ singer is organising two shows in Zurich before two shows in Milan. Her shows across the world conclude with shows in Canada in November and December.
