In a big news it has been revealed that the Asia Cup 2023 is all set to be held in September. This edition of Asia Cup will be a 50-over format, played in India. Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Chairman Jay Shah on Thursday revealed the groups and schedule of the 2023 and 2024 calendar year.

In the update shared by the ACC Chairman, arch-rivals India and Pakistan are slotted in the same group. However, Qualifier 1 will join the two sides to complete Group 1. Meanwhile, current champions Sri Lanka have been put in Group 2 along with Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

U-19 Men’s Asia Cup will be played in December 2023 with India and Pakistan again being named in the same group. The teams will be joined by Qualifier 1 and 2. Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Qualifier 3 are other teams to be part of the Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2023.
