Moin Khan, Pakistani cricket administrator and former cricketer, has shared his views on the on-going issues between the Board of Cricket Council in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He said that if India isn’t willing to come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, then Pakistan should not go for the World Cup. He also said that India cannot dominate other boards to do by "extortion of money".

Addressing the media, Moin said, “If India does not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then Pakistan should not go either for the World Cup. I think the Pakistan Cricket Board should oppose this.” He went on to say, “India cannot impose its will on other cricket boards by extortion of money. Cricket should be played, and for this, there should be a discussion in the boards of India and Pakistan.”

Indian fans did not seem to find this comment of the former Pakistani cricketer well and were too quick to come up with savage replies. They hit back at Khan by saying that they do not even understand the difference between the Asia Cup and World Cup.

One user wrote,  “There is a difference between the Asia Cup and the World Cup, someone explain to them.”

Another wrote,  “Kids don't understand difference between Asia Cup and world cup.”

The ongoing dispute between the BCCI and the PCB over the venue of the upcoming Asia Cup and the World Cup still remains intact. Asia Cup 2023 will start from September 2, 2023, and the World Cup, 2023 is scheduled to begin from October 5, 2023, on Indian soil.
